Available is a 5/8" H. Boker & Co. Straight Razor. Razor originates from Solingen, Germany home of the world-renowned straight razor craftsmen. The H. Boker names sings of quality manufacturing and heirloom potential. This blade is a collector's straight razor, the ship etching is in gorgeous condition. Every plank and wave can still be seen. This razor arrives 100% Shave Ready for the lucky person who gets to own this beauty!

This blade is ground with a spike point tip, making it an accurate shaver, more-so than a round point. This is a hollow grind razor with two pin design, very sexy with these scales! This would make a good starter straight razor for someone getting into wet-shaving, or a nice option for a seasoned veteran. This straight razor makes for a great razor because of its large size and comfortable shave provided. Razor has been restored, cleaned, and sanitized making it Shave Ready for your shaving pleasure. Ground with a hollow grind, this will plow down stubble with no trouble. Blade has a beautiful mirror finish, and has been highly buffed to perfection. Truly a masterpiece!

Restoration: This razor went through our Straight Razor Restoration service. It was first polished to a near mirror finish, removing all active rust and as much metal as was safe for this grind. The scales were also polished to give a high luster. Honing starts out on a Chosera 1000 Wet stone where the bevel is set. Once the bevel outline is finished the razor proceeds to be honed with the Chosera 3000 where the bevel is cleaned up and refined. Next its on to the polishing stage showcasing the Aishyama 6000, then Naniwa 12000. After the 12k, a perfectly good shave can occur, but we like to take it one step further and finish with a high polish on the Suehiro Gokumyo 20000. After honing, the blade is stropped, oiled, and arrives shave ready! Please do not strop this razor before your first shave.
